Genevieve L. Owen, HOOKSETT

HOOKSETT - Genevieve L. Owen died yesterday at Laurel Center, Bedford, after a short illness. She was born in Providence, R.I., the daughter of Michael and Kathryn (King) Dorgan. She lived in Hooksett from 1962 until moving to Manchester in 1984, returning to Hooksett in 1992. She was a homemaker and a part-time sales clerk at Jordan Marsh. She was the past president of Hooksett Catholic Women's Club and a volunteer for Hooksett Little League. She is predeceased by her husband, Ted Owen Jr., who died in 1998. Survivors include two daughters, Kathleen Raskin of Allenstown and Nanci Breagy of Epsom; a son, Ted Owen III of Hooksett; a brother, Thomas Dorgan of Scituate, R.I.; four grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Calling hours will not be held. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church, 15 S. Main St., Hooksett. Lambert Funeral Home, Manchester, is in charge of the arrangements.
