Funeral Rites Held I For E. E. Herzog. Providence Journal
Manufacturing concerns, especially those in the textile field, were represented at funeral services at Woonsocket yesterday for Earl Ernest Herzog, 49, of Louis-quisset Pike, Lincoln.
Mr. Herzogi who was vice president and a director of the Joan Plush Mills and the Joan Fabrics Corporation, died Sunday.
Services were conducted by the Rev. Dana F. Kennedy, rector of St. James Episcopal Church, at the Curtis J. Holt's Sons Funeral Home, South Main Street.
Firms represented at the serv. ices and In the cortege of 40 cars were the two plants he was associated with, both closed for the night; the Rhode Island's Plush Co., Abbott Worsted Co., a Henry Ts Sir Aco Oil Wontca, Co., Ray Cotton Co., and J. J.Clark Co.
There were delegations also from the Woonsocket Chamber of Commerce and the Rhode Island Hospital Trust Co.
The committal was at the Swan Point Cemetery chapel, where Mr. Kennedy officiated.
The bearers were Albert Tillinghast, Kenneth Tillinghast, Frank Brennan, James Egan, Charles McLeish and Robert Starling.
